As part of my training for the Woodrow Wilson Half Marathon in October I've decided to give myself a goal of
...100 miles in 100 days...
Running, biking, or walking- a mile is a mile. I'm not committing to a certain amount of miles a day, that way I can be flexible and however many miles I run I will just deduct from the total 100 miles.
This gives me until July 22nd, 2012 to reach my goal of 100 miles.
(Putting my graduate education to work and practicing what I preach about goal setting)
I will be starting tomorrow morning with a 5k in memory of Chuck Pacholkiw.
I will be running/walking races all summer long up until the half marathon in October.
I have joined the Shirlington Running Club (SRC) and will be running a 5k every Tuesday night in Arlington.
